Our Summer Golf School has been carefully developed for those looking to get the most out of their golf training.  Training is tailored to the individual focusing on the areas required for improvement. Begin the day with analysis and skill development, then put your newly honed skills to the test and finish the day with 9 holes on The Carrick Golf Course.  

Friday 15th June One Day Golf School

08.30 – 09.00- Meet & Greet – The Carrick Golf Shop

9.00 – 11.00 –  Swing Analysis with Trackman

11.00 – 12.00 – Short game analysis

12.00 – 13.00 – Lunch in The Claret Jug

13.00 – 14.00 – Short Game practice games

14.00 – 15.00 – Putting technique and green reading

15.00  – 17.30 – Take it to the course - 9 holes on The Carrick

It is one of our key aims to bring new people into the game, and as part of our commitment to golf, we welcome all juniors to our world-class facilities.  Our exciting junior golf tuition programme is crafted to give children the chance to give golf a go for the first time in our Junior golf classes, specifically designed around our own facilities, creating a detailed pathway for players to follow, giving children a challenge, some fun and a broad introduction to the game.​

Golf coach giving golf lessons in Loch Lomond


Robbie has been a member of our team at The Carrick Golf Course since 2011 and a fully qualified PGA Professional since 2015.  He learned the game at Dumbarton Golf Club, where he worked his way up through hard work and dedication, reaching his lowest playing handicap of +2.  Enjoying further success winning Dunbartonshire County Boys Strokeplay & Matchplay 2005, reaching GB&I finals of Faldo Series and joint winner in the Scottish Junior Tour event at Kilmarnock Barassie.

His very friendly approach allows all his customers to enjoy the process of learning to play golf. His energy and enthusiasm works perfectly to help everyone improve whether it be individual or group tuition sessions. Working alongside some of golf’s governing bodies, he is committed to growing the game of golf in Scotland, in particular at junior level.

Robbie is keen to continually improve his coaching skills through research and attending various coaching seminars delivered by some of golf’s leading experts.Utilising Trackman to provide direction and feedback, Robbie follow’s a ‘one size doesn’t fit all’ approach to golf coaching and tuition. His views are that each and every golfer is different, through a player led approach, he aims to provide a platform for golfers to learn through self-discovery and skill development.He will certainly aim to not only improve your golf but also have you leaving The Carrick Golf Course with a smile on your face.
