Claret Jug

Soon you’re lazing back in a slouchy sofa with a tasty single malt in one gloved hand and the fabled burger is brought to your table. Rebel cries resound from another table as tales of the dramas and near-misses are retold time and time again as the wine and beer flows. You resolve to come here in the evening. No spikes. No clubs. Just a great shirt, your best jeans and your wife (if you can prize her from The Carrick Spa, that is). Looking for great atmosphere and hearty fayre.
