Cameron House Releases Details Of New State-Of-The-Art Leisure Club Ahead Of Reopening
Luxury Scottish five-star resort, Cameron House, has revealed details of its new leisure facilities as it prepares for its reopening this summer.
With the sensitive restoration project entering its final stages, Cameron House Hotel will offer unrivalled luxury, featuring 140 bedrooms including 24 exquisite suites, elegant function rooms and event spaces, complete with spectacular views of Loch Lomond.
The new leisure club features a large 18m swimming pool, a family pool complete with a waterslide, a steam room, sauna and a bubble pool, perfect for taking time to relax and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding Trossachs through the floor to ceiling windows.
Facilities include a new state-of-the-art gym featuring the latest Technogym Excite and Skill Line equipment such as Skillbikes, Skillrowers and Skillmills, along with a new fitness studio and separate spin studio, with large screens using the latest AV technology. Each piece of equipment uses artificial intelligence technology and immersive content to give users a personalised workout tailored to their abilities. Gym-goers can be tutored by in-house fitness trainers or virtual fitness celebrities and set their workouts to take place in different geographical locations through video technology, making each workout unique to them.
Members can take their pick from a range of over 50 fitness classes each week, from holistic exercises such as Yoga and Tai Chi, to high impact classes including Body Pump and Kettlebells. All classes are taken by Cameron House’s team of highly-trained fitness instructors who will ensure guests get the most out of their workouts.
The Leisure Club will also be home to a new all-day dining restaurant and bar, The Tavern, providing an informal environment for guests to relax with family and friends with stunning loch views. A brand new food and beverage concept to Cameron House, The Tavern offers hearty cuisine and a well-stocked bar, with all the latest live sport from the big screens.
Claire McIntosh, Cameron Club General Manager, said: “It’s fantastic to see Cameron House’s Leisure Club finally come together. We have been particularly excited about this element of the restoration project, as we wanted to exceed expectations and offer our guests the very best leisure facilities.
“We’re very pleased with the progress of re-construction of the hotel, and we’re looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming guests later this year. A lot of time and consideration has gone into making sure Cameron House Resort is a one-of-a-kind luxurious experience, and we can’t wait to share it with our guests.”
As an Official Partner of Scottish Rugby, Scotland players Grant Gilchrist and James Lang helped mark the launch of Cameron House’s new gym memberships by encouraging fans to train smart with Cameron House’s team of personal trainers on social media, including using some of the state-of-the-art equipment to simulate a scrum.
The first 300 people to take up a Cameron House Leisure membership will receive a complimentary welcome gift, which includes a Cameron House branded gym bag, water bottle and towel.
Ensuring the newly restored hotel offers an unrivalled guest experience; the restoration has required meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, which will be seen throughout the beautiful reinstated suites, leisure facilities and reception areas.
Cameron House Resort’s restoration is being carefully carried out by contractors ISG, architects 3DReid, and closely supported by principal Designer Thomson Gray, Interior Designer Greyline Design, and Hirst Landscape Architects.
The resort’s new extension is also underway and will include a further 68 new bedrooms, the majority featuring large balconies with loch-facing views, bringing the resort’s total offering to 208 bedrooms including 30 spectacular suites, and a grand, 7,345 square foot loch-facing ballroom.
