Dame Katherine Grainger Dbe Partners With Cameron House

Luxury Scottish five-star resort, Cameron House, has announced a new partnership with Dame Katherine Grainger DBE to launch its spectacular new loch and land activities.

The current Chair of UK Sport from Glasgow is one of the UK’s most celebrated sportswomen as the only British female Olympian with five medals from five consecutive games.

Ahead of the re-opening of the meticulously restored hotel later this month, Dame Grainger has launched the programme of leisure activities alongside a new short film giving a flavour of the unrivalled adventures on offer, and inviting guests to explore the magnificent surroundings.

Guests can enjoy an array of water activities along the banks of Loch Lomond, including adrenaline-fueled speed boat and jet-skiing trips, kayaking and katakanu excursions, as well as peaceful paddle boarding, fresh water fishing, or opulent champagne cruises onboard the impressive Celtic Warrior.

With 400 acres of majestic countryside on its doorstep, Cameron House also boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Scottish landscape. Visitors can enjoy unparalleled views through scenic bike hire trails, falconry experiences, pony treks, clay pigeon shooting, 4×4 off-road driving adventures, Segway safaris, as well as a list of picturesque walks and hikes curated by the hotel’s leisure and events team.

Each activity has been created with guests, locals and groups in mind, meaning each experience is perfect solo, with a partner, with your family and as part of a group booking, ideal for corporate or team-building events.

Dame Katherine Grainger said: ‘’Cameron House has been, and always will be one of a kind. I’m proud to be working with the team to re-introduce the hotel’s exceptional experiences against the backdrop of breathtaking Loch Lomond. Having been lucky enough to experience some of the best activities on offer, I can testify how magnificent each event is and hope people will travel near and far to enjoy the Resort and Scotland at its very best.”

Andy Roger, Resort Director at Cameron House, added: “We are very much looking forward to opening our doors again and welcoming back our guests. With not long until our official re-opening unveiling later this month, we are thrilled to reveal our extensive programme of leisure activities with none other than Scottish sporting hero, Dame Katherine Grainger DBE. Each experience is further testament to the Resort as an ideal place for friends, families and groups to be inspired and enjoy a collection of unrivalled adventures on the banks Loch Lomond.”
