Meet the Pro

Robbie joined our team at The Carrick in 2011 and has been a fully qualified PGA Professional since 2015. He learned the game at Dumbarton Golf Club, where he reached his lowest playing handicap of +2. His playing honours include a win at the Dunbartonshire County Boys Strokeplay & Matchplay in 2005, reaching the GB&I finals of the Faldo Series, and sharing top spot in the Scottish Junior Tour event at Kilmarnock Barassie.

Working alongside some of golf’s governing bodies, he is committed to growing the game in Scotland, in particular at the junior level. Robbie continually improves his own coaching skills through research and coaching seminars. Using Trackman to provide direction and feedback, he follows a ‘one size doesn’t fit all’ approach to golf coaching, practice, and tuition.

He strongly believes that every golfer is different, and his player-led approach provides a platform for golfers to learn through self-discovery and skills development—all with a welcoming, friendly approach.
