Cameron House Appoints Michael Lavizani as Resort Director

In Monumental 200th Anniversary Year

Scotland’s premier luxury resort, Cameron House on Loch Lomond, has appointed Michael Lavizani as Resort Director.

In this position, his ambitious work ethic and hands-on approach to leadership will drive the resort’s 500 strong team to further successes within the luxury hospitality sphere and provide an outstanding guest experience. Michael joins during a highly anticipated period of the resort’s history, as it celebrates its 200th anniversary this year.

Michael most recently served as General Manager at Marine Troon Spa and Resort, where he oversaw the refurbishment of the hotel to 5-star standards under new ownership. This involved recruiting, training, and inducting all new team members, alongside formulating a new rate and growth strategy for the property.
An entrepreneurial and strategic leader, Michael began his career in hospitality as an Assistant Manager with 5-star hotel The Royal Horseguards, before becoming the General Manager of Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa in Cheshire. From there, he amassed a wealth of managerial experience in some leading names within the hospitality sector with companies such as De Vere Estates and DoubleTree by Hilton.
