CAMERON HOUSE RESORT BOOSTS EXECUTIVE TEAM WITH TRIO OF APPOINTMENTS

 

Five-star resort, Cameron House has announced the appointment of three additions to its executive team to spearhead the reopening of the hotel as it enters a new era of hospitality. The appointments come ahead of the highly anticipated reopening of Cameron House Hotel in 2021, where the team have been appointed to bolster the exceptional offering at the resort’s unrivalled setting.

 

Cerelle Gooding fills the role of Director of Sales and has worked at some iconic hotels in her career such as Four Seasons Hualalai, Hawaii, Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii and Hotel del Coronado, California. With over 20 years of experience in the international luxury hotel sector, Cerelle brings with her a breadth of expertise in engaging with a versatile clientele, with extensive knowledge of the high expectations that seasoned travellers have of a world-class getaway, making her the perfect fit for Cameron House Resort.

Commenting on the role, Cerelle said: “I am thrilled to join the team at one of the most treasured & historical estates in Scotland. In a role that’s key to the hotel, I look forward to engaging with our customers and telling the magical story of Cameron House.”

 

Tony Cheung joins as Director of Revenue Management from the 496-room Grosvenor House, A JW Marriot Hotel, London. With over 20 years of hotel group experience across Dubai, Malaysia, Saint Lucia and previously Cameron House from 2010 to 2011, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience on management strategies to maximise growth.

On re-joining the resort, Tony commented: “It’s fantastic to re-join the Cameron House as Director of Revenue. The resort has come a long way in the last ten years and I’m excited to work alongside an exceptional team at Scotland’s most iconic resort.”

 

At the helm of culinary operations of Cameron House Resort, Chef Zoltan Szabo joins as Executive Chef to lead the creative team to further elevate the five-star dining offered to guests. He brings with him a wealth of experience in menu development, creating unforgettable dining experiences, training, and mentoring teams. With more than 15 years’ experience in senior roles in hotels across Scotland, including the position of Senior Head Chef at Cameron House from 2014 to 2015, Zoltan is passionate about Scottish ingredients and local sourcing. He will lead the luxury five-star resort’s existing portfolio as well as three new additions to its collection of restaurants and bars that will soon be introduced as the hotel prepares to reopen next year.”

Zoltan Szabo commented: “I first visited Cameron House in 2006 and I was immediately captivated by the hotel’s stunning buildings and beautiful setting; it really is a dream come true for me to be able to take the role of Executive Chef. Cameron House has such a diverse and dynamic food offering ranging from contemporary fine dining, large scale luxury events, golf and leisure catering right through to the traditional afternoon tea, which will allow me to indulge my passion for Scotland’s incredible larder.”

 

Located within the strikingly beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Cameron House Resort offers an exceptional range of leisure, relaxation, and dining experiences to suit all occasions. The acclaimed Cameron Grill restaurant will reopen offering contemporary fine dining, and for more relaxed dining, The Boat House located at the Marina’s edge, The Clubhouse at Cameron and Café spa at The Cameron Club, all of which draw on the resort’s unique location for inspiration.

Cameron House Hotel is currently undergoing a careful and sensitive restoration project which will see Cameron House Hotel, The Leisure Club, The Great Scots Bar and Cameron Grill reopen in summer 2021. Cameron Club and Spa, The Carrick Golf Course, The Marina, Cameron Lodges, and The Boat house are operating in line with government guidelines.
